PITCHING  KEY

            The following is the key to decode the outer circle on the Pitcher Disc.  Each letter corresponds to a result.

B        Spin the Batter.  Result is final.

F        Fly ball - Middle         Batter is out with nobody on base or 2 are out.  With runners on,  spin the OUTFIELD disc.

G       Ground ball - Middle Batter is out with nobody on base or 2 are out.  With runners on base, or if infielders are moved, spin the GROUND BALL disc.

H       Spin the Batter                         If the first result is a hit, then it stands.  If the result is not a Base Hit on the first spin, spin the batter again.  Second result is final.  Note that a Walk is not a HIT!

H       Spin the Batter                       If the first result is NOT a base hit, then that result is final.  If it is a hit, spin the batter again.  Second result is final.  Note that a Walk is not a HIT

K       Batter is out on strikes!

K       Spin the Batter.  If the result is anything other than a strike-out, then the result is final.  If the result is a strike-out, then spin the batter again.  Second result is final.

W     Spin the Batter  If the result is an ODD number on the Batting Disc, the batter walks.  If the result is an even number, see the Batting Key for the result.

W     Spin the batter                        If the result is anything but a base on balls, then the result is final.   If the batter spins a base on balls, then spin the batter again.  Second result is final.

X    Batter is hit by the pitch and awarded first base.

Z        Wild Pitch.  All runners advance 1 base, then spin the batter.

HR Spin the batter                        If the result is anything but a Home Run, then the result is final.   If the batter spins a Home Run, then spin the batter again.  Second result is final.

HH              Spin the Batter                       If the first result is a Home Run, then it stands.  If the result is not a Home Run on the first spin, spin the batter again.  The second result will be final.

WH              Spin the Batter.  If the result is not a hit or a walk, then spin the batter again.  Second result is final.
